Account information: Name, email address, and profile picture from Google OAuth
Conversation data: Chat messages, AI responses, and conversation metadata
Subscription data: Plan type, billing information processed through Stripe
Usage analytics: Feature usage, query counts, and performance metrics
Technical data: Browser type, device information, and IP address for security purposes

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your information to:

Provide, maintain, and improve the Helios platform
Authenticate your account and manage sessions
Process subscriptions and payments via Stripe
Store conversation history for your continued use
Provide personalized AI responses through our Cortex memory system
Monitor for abuse and maintain platform security

3. AI Model Providers

Your prompts are processed by the following third-party AI providers:

Anthropic — Claude models
OpenAI — GPT-4 models
Google — Gemini models
Perplexity — Sonar research model

We use API configurations that prevent these providers from training on your data where such options are available. Each provider's own privacy policy governs their handling of data.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest and in transit. We use industry-standard security practices including TLS encryption, secure authentication tokens, and regular security audits. Payment information is processed and stored exclusively by Stripe — we never store credit card numbers.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

AI providers — To process your queries (as described above)
Stripe — To process payments
Vercel — Our hosting provider
Law enforcement — Only when required by law

You have the right to:

7. Cookies

Helios uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Third-party services (Google OAuth, Stripe) may set their own cookies as necessary for their operation.

Helios is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
